The French multinational MICHELIN opens its new warehouse in the CPL Penedès logistics park; lease transaction advised by ESTRADA & PARTNERS

On 19th September, the new Michelin logistics facilities saw the opening in the CPL Penedès logistics park. This new warehouse fit in the new logistical needs of the company, replacing its predecessor in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda, and comprises an area of 25,000 m2, with modern logistics technologies and the capacity to serve the 600 delivery points of the Michelin network in the region. Located in Sant Sadurní d’Anoia, the new logistics platform also has a strategic geographical position, 40 km from Barcelona on the AP-7, the main Mediterranean corridor.

The opening of the logistics platform was chaired by Mr. José Rebollo, president of Michelin Group in Spain and Portugal; Jordi Carbonell, deputy director of Industrial Policy of the Generalitat de Catalunya; Pere Pons Vendrell, Subirats mayor; and, among other personalities who attended, Josep Oriol, Saba Parques Logísticos general manager.

The lease transaction- advised by Estrada & Partners, real estate advisers- was held few months ago on the basis of a lease contract for 10 years signed by CPL Penedès and Michelin España y Portugal.
